Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Wireless Engineering Manager to lead our innovative engineering team in the design and implementation of advanced wireless communication systems. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of wireless engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence.
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for wireless technology development, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Oversee the design, simulation, and testing of wireless systems, including RF components, antennas, and network protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless solutions into product offerings, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in wireless engineering, with a proven track record of managing teams and projects.
- Deep understanding of wireless communication theories and concepts, including LTE, 5G, and IoT protocols.
- Experience with RF design tools and simulation software, such as CST, ADS, or HFSS.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile and waterfall methodologies.
Preferred:
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in the development of software-defined radio (SDR) and cognitive radio systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and certification processes for wireless technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in wireless communication standards and protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11, 3GPP).
- Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment and methodologies.
- Knowledge of network architecture and design principles for wireless systems.
