Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Wire Winding Supervisor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this critical role, you will oversee the wire winding operations, ensuring that production processes meet quality standards while maximizing efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in leading a team of skilled technicians, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily wire winding operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance productivity and maintain high-quality standards
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows and resolve production challenges
- Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying opportunities for operational improvements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on wire winding or similar processes
- Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing production operations
- Strong understanding of wire winding machinery and techniques, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling software
- Technical certification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
