Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary academic leader for the position of Endowed Chair in Timber Management. This role is critical in advancing research, education, and outreach in sustainable timber management practices. Responsibilities
- Lead interdisciplinary research efforts focused on innovative practices in timber management and sustainability.

- Foster partnerships with industry stakeholders, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations to enhance timber management practices.
- Secure funding through grants and collaborations to support research initiatives and educational programs.

- Mentor and guide faculty and students in research, scholarship, and professional development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field with a focus on timber management.
- A record of scholarly achievement, including publications in high-impact journals.
- Demonstrated experience in securing research funding and leading collaborative projects.
