Role Overview
We are seeking a distinguished academic leader for the position of Endowed Chair in Forest Technology. Responsibilities

- Foster relationships with industry partners, governmental agencies, and community stakeholders to promote the application of research findings.

- Seek external funding through grant writing and collaboration to support innovative projects in forest technology.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated record of research excellence, with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience leading interdisciplinary research projects and securing funding.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience in integrating technology in forestry practices, including remote sensing, GIS, and data analytics.
- Established networks within the forestry and environmental science communities.
- Previous experience in academic leadership or administrative roles.
