Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Assistant Tennis Club Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management and operations of our tennis club, ensuring an exceptional experience for all members and guests. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our community's engagement with tennis and contribute to the growth and success of our club.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Tennis Club Manager in day-to-day operations, including member services, facility management, and event planning
- Coordinate and oversee tennis programs, clinics, and tournaments, ensuring high-quality execution and member satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention through various activities and outreach initiatives
- Manage communications with members, including newsletters, updates, and event promotions
- Monitor and maintain club facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health regulations
- Assist with budgeting and financial management, including tracking expenses and revenue
- Foster a positive and inclusive club culture that welcomes individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in sports management, hospitality, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with club management software
Preferred:
- Experience in tennis or sports programming and event management
- Knowledge of tennis rules, regulations, and coaching principles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using club management systems for scheduling, member tracking, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with social media platforms for marketing and community engagement
