Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Fitness Operations to lead and optimize our fitness programs across multiple locations. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for enhancing the member experience through operational excellence, innovative program development, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of fitness programs.
- Oversee the management of fitness staff, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Implement data analytics to track program performance, member satisfaction, and operational efficiency, using insights to inform strategic improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote fitness offerings, driving member acquisition and retention.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards in facility operations.
- Foster partnerships with local health organizations and community initiatives to promote wellness and engagement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in fitness operations or related fields, with a focus on program development and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of fitness industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing multi-location operations and achieving strategic objectives.
Preferred:
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and metrics-driven management.
- Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM).
- Strong network within the fitness and wellness community.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in fitness management software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and performance management systems.
- Understanding of digital fitness trends and technology integration.
