Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Integrator to lead the design and implementation of complex system integration projects that align with our innovative vision. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology and strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance optimization across diverse platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and integration of multi-faceted systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain integration strategies, including identifying integration points, overseeing data flow, and ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications, leveraging agile methodologies to drive project delivery.
- Conduct thorough system testing and integration validation, utilizing automated testing frameworks to ensure quality assurance.
- Mentor and guide junior integration engineers and technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Evaluate and implement new integration technologies and tools, staying current with industry trends and best practices to enhance system capabilities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in systems integration, architecture, or software engineering with a proven track record of delivering complex integration projects.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware solutions, including experience with RESTful services and message queuing systems.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, with a solid foundation in software development best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration capabilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance in real-time.
Preferred:
- Experience with enterprise-level integration projects, including ERP, CRM, and custom application integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline integration workflows.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in system integration.
- Relevant certifications in systems integration or cloud architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in system integration technologies, including ESB, API Management, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with integration tools/platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or IBM Integration Bus.
