Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Integration Architect to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will architect and implement complex integration solutions that connect disparate systems, enabling seamless data flow and operational efficiency. You will leverage your expertise in middleware technologies and cloud integration patterns to drive strategic initiatives that align with our business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration architectures that support business processes across various platforms and applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Lead the evaluation and selection of integration tools, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards
- Define and enforce integration governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance
- Develop reusable integration components and templates to accelerate development cycles
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on integration best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration solutions, ensuring high availability and performance
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in integration architecture or related fields, with a strong focus on enterprise-level solutions
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions using middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or Dell Boomi
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, specifically related to integration services
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving complex integration challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployment
- Familiarity with data transformation tools like Apache NiFi or Talend
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Certifications in integration platforms or cloud technologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of integration patterns and best practices
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
