Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to join our team and drive the architectural vision and implementation strategies for complex integration solutions across diverse platforms. As a crucial member of our technology leadership team, you will leverage your extensive expertise in enterprise architecture to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient integration frameworks that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of integration architectures, ensuring high-quality technical solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to architectural standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration needs and develop comprehensive integration strategies using industry best practices.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of integration tools and technologies, including ESB, API management, and messaging systems.
- Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and governance processes to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Mentor and guide development teams on integration patterns, tools, and techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the integration architecture aligned with business goals and technological advancements.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on enterprise integration solutions.
- Proven track record of architecting and implementing complex integration solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols (REST, SOAP, JMS), and technologies such as ESB, API gateways, and microservices.
- Experience with cloud integration platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid integration scenarios.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Deep knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data transformation processes.
