Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join our surgical team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Advanced Practice Nursing
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the surgical specialty
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia, and postoperative care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families
Preferred:
- Experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including but not limited to orthopedics, general surgery, and vascular surgery
- Advanced certifications in surgical nursing or related fields
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of surgical instruments and technologies
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies relevant to surgical care
- Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient care management
