Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration or related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and surgical procedures.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a surgical or clinical coordination role is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
- Certification as a Surgical Coordinator (or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and healthcare management software.

- Understanding of surgical instruments and sterilization processes is advantageous.
