Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in surgical technology or a related field is preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a surgical orderly or in a similar role, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of surgical procedures, sterilization techniques, and surgical instruments
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership position, with a proven track record of training and mentoring staff
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and surgical scheduling software
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
