Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in substation maintenance or operations, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of technicians, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical safety and maintenance.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Experience with SCADA systems and remote monitoring technologies.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of high voltage electrical systems and substation equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for electrical testing and analysis.
- Experience with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E).
