Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical failures, employing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
- Manage inventory and procurement of electrical parts and tools, ensuring the team is well-equipped for maintenance tasks
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, mentoring team members on best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and projects
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing effective solutions
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as National Electric Code (NEC) certification or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience with power distribution systems and electrical safety standards
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for electrical troubleshooting
