Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to oversee and enhance the operational reliability of our electrical systems. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement maintenance strategies that ensure compliance with safety standards, improve system efficiency, and extend the lifespan of our electrical assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team in executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules that optimize operational availability while minimizing downtime
- Implement best practices for electrical safety, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate maintenance strategies into overall operational plans
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex electrical issues
- Develop training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of maintenance personnel
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial efficiency in maintenance operations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or similar
- Experience with automation systems and predictive maintenance technologies
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in electrical maintenance
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in electrical systems design, operation, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and electrical codes
