Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the staffing process by assisting with recruitment activities, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees. Your contributions will be vital in helping us build a talented and diverse workforce.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings and managing applications through the applicant tracking system
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and feedback
- Support the onboarding process by preparing welcome materials and facilitating orientation sessions for new hires
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and ensure compliance with company policies
- Conduct initial screenings of candidates to assess qualifications and fit for roles
- Collaborate with the HR team to enhance recruitment strategies and improve candidate experience
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in recruitment or human resources support, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS software
- Experience in a staffing agency or corporate recruitment setting
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Basic knowledge of HR software and tools
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly
