Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Special Education Assistant to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in special education or child development are a plus.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, in an educational or caregiving setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting diverse learners.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and experience implementing accommodations and modifications.
- Experience with behavior management techniques and strategies to support students with challenging behaviors.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with assistive technology and educational software used in special education.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for documentation and communication.
- Understanding of data collection methods to track student progress and outcomes.
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
