Role Overview
We are looking for a Landscape Supervisor to lead and oversee landscaping projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring that landscaping initiatives align with client expectations and company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise landscaping teams to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to safety protocols
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all landscaping work is completed on schedule and within financial targets
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress and quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, providing expert advice on plant selection, design, and maintenance practices
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and equipment needed for landscaping projects
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in all landscaping activities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in landscape management or horticulture with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong understanding of landscape design principles, horticultural practices, and environmental stewardship
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Certified Landscape Technician or equivalent certification
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in landscape design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance equipment, and pest management techniques
- Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints and technical specifications
