Role Overview
As a Principal SharePoint Architect at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable SharePoint solutions that meet enterprise-level requirements. You will play a critical role in transforming business needs into technology solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of SharePoint solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of custom SharePoint applications and workflows.
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for SharePoint usage and administration.
- Guide and mentor development teams on SharePoint best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Stay current with SharePoint developments and trends, recommending enhancements and optimizations.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of SharePoint environments to resolve complex issues.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on SharePoint architecture and development.
- Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing workflows using Power Automate and SharePoint Designer.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint security models, site collections, and user permissions.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation.
Preferred:
- Experience with Azure services and integration with SharePoint.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies such as React, Angular, or SPFx.
- Certifications in SharePoint or Microsoft 365 technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in SharePoint architecture, design, and administration.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams and OneDrive.
- Proficiency in database concepts, particularly SQL Server.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integration methodologies.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
