Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Process Engineering Manager to lead our cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing processes. In this pivotal role, you will harness your expertise to drive process optimization initiatives, enhance yield performance, and ensure the successful execution of advanced semiconductor technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for semiconductor process improvements, focusing on yield enhancement and cost reduction.
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing process development projects from concept through to production ramp-up.
- Establish process control methodologies and drive data-driven decisions through statistical analysis and process monitoring.
- Collaborate with R&D and product engineering teams to align on requirements and drive process innovations.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Manage resource allocation and project timelines to ensure efficient operation within the semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor process engineering roles, with a demonstrated track record of successful project management.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, and CMP.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE).
Preferred:
- PhD in a relevant field with a focus on semiconductor technology.
- Experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with advanced process technologies such as FinFET, SOI, and 3D IC.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in semiconductor fabrication process tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in using CAD and simulation software for process design and optimization.
- Experience with failure analysis techniques and problem-solving methodologies in semiconductor manufacturing.
