Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Processing Manager to lead our innovative semiconductor fabrication processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, optimization, and implementation of advanced semiconductor manufacturing techniques, ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and throughput.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize semiconductor processing operations, including photolithography, etching, deposition, and chemical mechanical polishing (CMP)
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement process improvements that enhance yield, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless product development from conception to production
- Utilize data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations within the semiconductor fabrication facility
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor processing or related manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and technologies
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume production setting
Preferred:
- Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience with advanced semiconductor materials and processes, including 3D ICs and MEMS
- Familiarity with process simulation tools and design of experiments (DOE)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in semiconductor fabrication equipment and software, including CAD tools for layout and simulation
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, or Python for process optimization
- Experience with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
