Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Semiconductor Assembly Supervisor to oversee and enhance our assembly processes for semiconductor manufacturing. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our assembly operations are efficient, adherent to quality standards, and aligned with our strategic goals. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the semiconductor assembly team to meet production targets and timelines.
- Implement and optimize assembly processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing training on best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, reporting findings to management.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices within the assembly area.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor assembly or related manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role with a track record of managing teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
Preferred:
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software tools for monitoring and reporting production metrics.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in semiconductor assembly equipment and technology.
- Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and ERP systems related to manufacturing.
