Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Supervisor of Electronic Assembly to lead our remote teams in delivering high-quality electronic components. This role is critical in ensuring that our assembly processes meet rigorous safety and quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of electronic assembly teams, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Implement and refine assembly processes, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues and enhance product quality
- Train, mentor, and lead assembly team members, promoting skill development and a positive team environment
- Analyze production metrics and implement data-driven improvements to optimize assembly performance
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing supervision
- Strong understanding of electronic components, assembly techniques, and quality control processes
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Technical certifications related to electronic assembly or manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of electronic assembly processes, including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole assembly
- Proficient in using assembly tools and equipment
- Experience with testing and inspection methodologies to ensure product quality
