Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Director of Retail Operations to lead our retail strategy and execution across multiple locations. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our operational processes, driving revenue growth, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and implement initiatives that enhance our retail performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to drive store performance and maximize profitability
- Oversee the management of daily retail operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies
- Analyze sales reports and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Lead and mentor retail management teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to align strategies and optimize product offerings
- Implement training programs to enhance staff performance and ensure exceptional customer service
- Drive inventory management initiatives to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in retail operations management, with a proven track record of driving results
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and metrics, with the ability to analyze data to inform decision-making
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
Preferred:
- Experience in a multi-store environment or large-scale retail operations
- Proficiency in retail management software and tools
- Experience with e-commerce operations and integration
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in retail analytics and reporting tools
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale technologies
- Understanding of supply chain management principles
