Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exemplary customer service, and driving sales performance while supporting the Store Manager in developing a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staff scheduling to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and implementing marketing strategies to enhance store performance.
- Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring exceptional service standards and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain high levels of engagement and performance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and organized store environment.
- Analyze sales data and provide insights to the Store Manager for strategic decision-making.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
- Experience in training and developing team members.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Solid understanding of retail software and point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with inventory management tools and techniques.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
