Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief of Respiratory Therapy to lead our respiratory care services across the organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the strategic direction for respiratory therapy services within the organization, ensuring alignment with overall healthcare goals
- Lead the respiratory therapy team, providing mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish best practices in respiratory care and optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards related to respiratory therapy
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient safety
- Conduct research and stay abreast of advancements in respiratory therapy to inform clinical practices and protocols

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in respiratory therapy with a demonstrated track record of leadership and clinical excellence
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure and certifications (such as RRT)
- Extensive knowledge of respiratory therapy practices, policies, and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred:
- Experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems
- Published research or contributions to professional organizations in respiratory care
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in respiratory care equipment and technology, including ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen delivery systems
- Knowledge of healthcare informatics and data analytics to enhance service delivery
- Experience in developing clinical protocols and treatment pathways for respiratory conditions
