Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Executive Director of Residential Services to lead our comprehensive residential programs. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our residential services strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that empower our residents and promote their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for residential services that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
- Oversee all aspects of residential program operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of program managers and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and families.
- Monitor program performance and implement data-driven enhancements to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Manage budgetary and financial oversight for residential services, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
- Advocate for residents' needs and rights, promoting a person-centered approach in all service areas.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in managing residential services or similar programs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in residential care and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of budget management and financial oversight.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency in service delivery.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices.
- Previous experience in policy advocacy related to residential services.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data management systems and reporting tools relevant to residential services.
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Experience with performance metrics and quality assurance frameworks.
