Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering innovative solutions that enhance rail systems' efficiency, safety, and reliability. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of railway projects, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and objectives.
- Oversee and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to meet project milestones and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies to enhance project delivery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and internal teams, to ensure compliance with safety and engineering regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in railway engineering or related infrastructure projects, with a demonstrated track record of successful project management.
- Strong understanding of railway systems, safety standards, and engineering principles.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with advanced railway technologies and systems, including signaling and control systems.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications.
- Experience with project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with railway regulations and standards (e.g., FRA, AREMA).
