Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field
- Current certification as a Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a radiology or imaging environment with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, protocols, and patient safety practices
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred:
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and radiology information systems (RIS)
- Active involvement in professional organizations related to radiology or imaging
- Continuing education in advanced imaging techniques or patient care practices
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in imaging equipment operation, including digital X-ray, MRI, and CT
- Familiarity with radiology software and data management systems
- Understanding of regulatory standards and quality assurance processes in imaging
