Role Overview
We are looking for a Quality Control Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. In this position, you will lead a team of quality control specialists, establish robust quality assurance processes, and implement innovative testing methodologies to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts for quality issues, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and quality metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute quality assurance testing protocols.
- Provide training and mentorship to quality control staff, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and initiate improvements based on data-driven insights.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably within manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) and quality management systems.
- Proven experience in leading quality improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM).
- Experience with statistical quality control methods and tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., Minitab, QC software).
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to enhance product quality.
