Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Physical Therapy to lead our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of innovative physical therapy programs that elevate patient care and enhance clinical outcomes across our organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for physical therapy services, aligning with organizational goals and patient needs
- Lead and mentor a team of physical therapists, ensuring high standards of care and professional development
- Implement evidence-based practices and innovative treatment methodologies to optimize patient outcomes
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate physical therapy services within broader healthcare initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in clinical operations
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and valid state licensure
- 8+ years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing clinical programs and protocols
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data for decision-making and performance improvement
Preferred:
- Experience in a remote work environment and managing distributed teams
- Certification in a specialized area of physical therapy practice (e.g., Orthopedics, Sports, Neurology)
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to leverage data analytics tools to track patient outcomes and program performance
- Familiarity with clinical management software and treatment planning tools
