Role Overview

- Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques and home care strategies to promote independence and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support the physical therapy team in maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient or rehabilitation services.
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and exercise techniques.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- Basic understanding of rehabilitation equipment and therapeutic modalities.
- Ability to utilize technology for patient education and communication.
