Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Production Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Support senior estimators in preparing detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and overhead
- Conduct market research to identify cost trends and variances in production materials and processes
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand project specifications and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and cost data for future reference
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost-related issues and potential savings
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in cost estimation, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with financial modeling
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of cost estimation software or ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas
- Familiarity with cost estimation tools and methodologies
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production metrics
