Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor (Precast Concrete Ironwork) to lead our precast concrete operations. In this role, you will ensure the successful execution of projects, overseeing the production and installation of precast concrete components while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the precast concrete ironwork team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution
- Monitor production processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections of precast elements to ensure structural integrity and adherence to specifications
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of production, labor, and material usage for reporting and analysis
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in precast concrete manufacturing or ironwork supervision
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete products, fabrication methods, and installation techniques
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred:
- Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools
- Relevant certifications in concrete technology or construction management
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to precast concrete
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of safety management systems and protocols
- Experience with quality control processes in precast concrete production
