Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pit Boss to oversee operations in our gaming environment. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless gaming experience for our patrons while maintaining compliance with gaming regulations and company policies. You will be responsible for managing the floor staff, resolving customer issues, and ensuring the highest standards of game integrity and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dealers and other gaming staff to ensure adherence to company policies and gaming regulations.
- Monitor gaming operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures, maintaining game integrity at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes to enhance the guest experience and maintain positive relationships with patrons.
- Train and mentor staff in gaming procedures, customer service excellence, and compliance measures.
- Prepare reports on gaming activity, staff performance, and customer feedback to provide insights to upper management.
- Conduct regular inspections of gaming tables and equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in gaming operations or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of gaming regulations and operational procedures.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in a casino environment, specifically with table games.
- Certification or training in gaming operations or hospitality.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient with gaming management systems and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret gaming reports and manage performance metrics.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
