Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Pharmacy Analyst to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting pharmacy operations by analyzing data, assisting with medication management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your contributions will help improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall efficiency of our pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of pharmacy data to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiencies.
- Support the development and implementation of medication management protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to monitor medication utilization and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, conducting audits and reviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations, including inventory management and patient safety protocols.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations, medication management, and healthcare regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, including internships or co-op placements.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and data management tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Basic understanding of healthcare data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Experience with pharmaceutical databases and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
