Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Clinical Data Manager to join our clinical operations team. In this role, you will oversee data management processes for clinical trials, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely and accurate collection, processing, and reporting of clinical data.
Responsibilities
- Manage the clinical data lifecycle from study design through data collection, cleaning, and reporting
- Develop and implement data management plans, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Oversee data entry, validation, and quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of clinical trial data
- Coordinate with clinical research associates (CRAs) and site personnel to resolve data discrepancies and queries
- Prepare and present data summaries and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions
- Lead data management training sessions for clinical study teams and external partners
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Proficiency in clinical data management systems (CDMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) tools
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory standards
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R) for data analysis
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in clinical data management software, such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or Veeva Vault
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL for data querying and validation
- Experience with database design and data architecture
