Role Overview
We are seeking a Chief Petroleum Inspector to lead our quality assurance and regulatory compliance efforts in the petroleum industry. This role is critical for ensuring that our operations meet stringent safety and quality standards while adhering to environmental regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the petroleum inspection program, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain inspection protocols and quality assurance processes for petroleum products.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of petroleum facilities and operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to inspection teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in quality assurance.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, presenting actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in petroleum inspection, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of petroleum industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop inspection teams.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications in quality assurance or petroleum inspection (e.g., API, ASNT, or equivalent).
- Experience with risk management and safety systems in the petroleum industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of using data to drive process improvements.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in inspection technologies and methodologies, including non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance software and data management systems.
- Ability to leverage data analytics tools for inspection reporting and performance tracking.
