Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Crude Testing Supervisor to join our operations team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Develop and implement testing procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Manage a team of laboratory technicians, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate testing results
- Analyze testing data and prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to testing equipment and methodologies, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing instruments
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in crude oil testing or laboratory operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of analytical techniques and equipment used in crude oil testing
- Proven track record of implementing safety and quality assurance protocols
Preferred:
- Experience with laboratory accreditation processes and compliance audits
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (API, ASTM, etc.)
- Advanced certification in laboratory management or related areas
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in analytical instrumentation, such as gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectrophotometry
- Strong data analysis skills, including experience with statistical software
- Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
