Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Chief Inspector to lead our quality assurance and inspection operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals.
- Lead inspection teams in conducting thorough evaluations of products and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze inspection data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of quality and ensure adherence to best practices throughout the organization.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to quality assurance staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors during inspections and compliance reviews.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans for non-conformance issues.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality assurance and inspection, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of implementing successful quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Familiarity with inspection technologies and methodologies.
