Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Caregiver to provide high-quality in-home care for our clients. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and supporting their independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Establish a trusting relationship with clients and their families, ensuring open communication regarding care plans and any changes in health status.
- Monitor and document client health and progress, reporting any concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, promoting their physical well-being and independence.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional and mental well-being.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a home care setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude toward clients.
- Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety protocols.
Preferred:
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience working with individuals with specific health conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, or physical disabilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using telehealth platforms and communication tools for remote care coordination.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
