Responsibilities

- Lead training sessions for junior cast specialists, enhancing their skills in casting techniques, patient communication, and safety protocols.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Orthopedic Cast Technician (COCT) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in various casting techniques and materials, including fiberglass and plaster.
- Strong understanding of orthopedic anatomy and pathology, as well as patient care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
Preferred:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with pediatric casting techniques and specialized materials.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in the application of orthopedic casting and splinting techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and tracking.
