Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle SOA Architect to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to design, develop, and implement scalable integration solutions that streamline business processes and enhance system interoperability across our enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design Oracle SOA solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices in system design.
- Lead the implementation of integration projects, providing technical guidance and strategic direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integration workflows.
- Optimize existing SOA solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability, utilizing tools such as Oracle Service Bus and Oracle BPEL Process Manager.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers on SOA best practices and design patterns.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in SOA and integration technologies, integrating relevant innovations into our architecture.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing Oracle SOA solutions.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in Oracle SOA Suite, including Oracle Service Bus, BPEL, and Oracle Adapter technologies.
- Experience with integration patterns and middleware technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud integration platforms and technologies (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle SOA or cloud technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and associated tools.
- Proficient in XML, XSLT, SOAP, and RESTful services.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and data transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
