Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Oracle SOA Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals and contribute to the design and development of service-oriented architecture solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, enhancing your skills in a supportive environment while actively participating in the creation of robust integration solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of SOA applications using Oracle SOA Suite, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in requirements gathering and analysis to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, and deploy integration components and workflows, ensuring seamless communication between applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
- Document development processes, system designs, and technical specifications for future reference.
- Engage in peer code reviews to learn and apply feedback effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on Oracle SOA or related technologies.
- Familiarity with XML, XSD, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Basic understanding of Java or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and service-oriented architecture principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to database technologies such as Oracle Database and SQL.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Basic proficiency in Oracle SOA Suite, including components such as BPEL, Mediator, and Service Bus.
- Understanding of web services development, including WSDL and UDDI.
- Exposure to monitoring tools and techniques for SOA applications.
