Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises to facilitate ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and the ability to implement treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Preferred:
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings, including acute care, outpatient, or long-term care.
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology used in occupational therapy.
- Certification in CPR and first aid.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ability to use therapeutic modalities and adaptive equipment specific to occupational therapy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
