Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement innovative camera techniques and strategies to enhance storytelling
- Maintain and optimize camera equipment, ensuring all gear is in top working condition
- Train and mentor junior camera operators, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to best practices
- Conduct thorough pre-production planning, including shot lists and camera placement strategies
- Oversee the post-production process, working with editors to ensure that the visual narrative aligns with the intended vision
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in camera operation within film, television, or digital media
- Proven track record of leading camera teams on high-profile projects
- Strong understanding of cinematographic principles, lighting techniques, and camera technologies
- Expertise with a variety of camera systems, including DSLRs, digital cinema cameras, and drones
Preferred:
- Experience in multiple genres including documentary, commercial, and narrative filmmaking
- Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Advanced knowledge of color grading and post-production workflows
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- In-depth understanding of camera mechanics and cinematographic techniques
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various camera equipment including lenses, stabilizers, and lighting
- Experience with remote filming technologies and live broadcasting
