Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Music Pastor to join our vibrant church community at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Engage with the congregation to encourage participation in worship and music ministries
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Demonstrated experience in church music ministry, with a strong understanding of worship practices and dynamics
- Proficiency in vocal performance and/or instrumental skills, with experience leading congregational singing
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of musicians and volunteers
Preferred:
- Experience in music composition or arrangement for worship settings
- Familiarity with contemporary worship music alongside traditional hymns
- Theological education or training in music ministry is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using music software and tools for arrangement and rehearsal
- Experience with audio/visual equipment and sound systems for church settings
- Knowledge of music theory and hymnology
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with church members and staff
- A passion for worship and a heart for ministry, with a servant leadership approach
- Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the congregation and worship team
