Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and visionary Executive Pastor to lead our church's operational and strategic initiatives. In this role, you will be pivotal in aligning our mission with our resources, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth among our ministry teams, and enhancing the spiritual impact of our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership for church operations, ensuring alignment with the mission and vision of the church
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to establish goals, develop action plans, and assess progress towards church objectives
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among staff, volunteers, and congregants to promote a unified church culture
- Oversee budget management and financial stewardship, ensuring responsible allocation of resources in support of ministry activities
- Lead and mentor staff members, fostering their spiritual and professional growth
- Manage church facilities and resources, ensuring a welcoming and effective environment for worship and ministry
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives that enhance community engagement and outreach
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in church leadership or a related ministry context
- Strong understanding of church governance, financial management, and operational best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Ability to articulate and embody the mission, vision, and values of the church
Preferred:
- Theological degree or equivalent ministry training
- Experience in community outreach and engagement initiatives
- Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in a church setting
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in church management software and financial management tools
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Experience with digital communication platforms and social media engagement
