Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a proven track record in product development.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and FEA tools.
- Deep understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes, including machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams through complex design projects.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the development of consumer electronics or automotive systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in mechanical design principles, including tolerance analysis and thermal management.
