Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical engineering team in delivering exceptional projects that drive innovation and efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the electrical team in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems across multiple projects.
- Develop and enforce electrical safety protocols, ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of electrical work to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Mentor and train junior electrical engineers to enhance their technical skills and advance their careers within the organization.
- Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation related to electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance practices.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with renewable energy systems, including solar and wind technologies.
- Familiarity with electrical modeling software such as ETAP or SKM.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in the manufacturing or construction industries.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
- Deep understanding of power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
