Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Licensing Manager to support our licensing team in managing and optimizing our portfolio of licenses. This role will involve collaborating with various internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the strategic direction of our licensing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and management of licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline licensing processes and enhance operational efficiencies
- Conduct regular audits of licensing practices and provide recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to licensing agreements and renewals
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform licensing strategies
- Support the Licensing Manager in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in licensing, compliance, or a related area
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a regulatory or compliance role within the industry
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and management
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and licensing management software
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to licensing
